A Beautiful Day...

For long on a barren island,
a life had silently laid.
With no voice, body or scent,
bravely it held its fate...

The sun soon burned harder,
and the sand went pale...
It was that very moment,
when even the bravest would fail.

But for long it was talked,
and for long it is dreamed.
That for one in thousand,
the god has himself schemed.

And now the miracle has happened,
and there is love in air...
And the brave, valiant seed,
has drenched itself in its care.

As beautiful, scented flower,
now the seed carelessly swayed...
It has alas met its soul,
just as it was long essayed

But life is life,
and it will never ever wait
The flower has bloomed,
and now it has its worldly fate

Tomorrow again when the sun shines,
the colours would fade
Bitten by winds or rays,
true love but, never truly shades..

Now in the greenest valley ever,
the blooming flower forever silently lay,
With the sweetest, scented memory,
of one heavenly, beautiful day...
